Shipping & Delivery

We recommend ordering your SPARK gifts as early as possible to receive them prior to Christmas Day. Australia post has given us some time frames for the current 2022 Christmas season.

Please note: Although our delivery carrier has quoted us these expected delivery times, sometimes life happens and they aren’t able to deliver within this timeframe. We will do our very best on our end to make sure you receive your SPARK goodies on time.

Can I pre-Order Spark Grips?

We know you think our SPARK grips are as hot as chips, so unfortunately sometimes we can completely sell out before our next round of stock reaches our fulfilment centre. If this happens, we will put those SPARK designs up for pre-order before they’ve arrived. We know what date our stock is due to arrive (this is the date next to the product name). All orders will then be shipped out to our customers within 72 hours after that specified date. This allows our customers to reserve their favourite SPARK design!

 

Please note - As of 1st December 2022, all stock is currently on pre-order for our launch. Stock will be ready to be shipped to you in the first or second week of December.

How does shipping and delivery work?

You’ve placed your order, and you're super excited knowing your SPARK products are on their way - what next?

Once an order is placed, our team will select your SPARK products and package them with love, so please allow up to 72 hours for our team to pick and pack your order. All orders are sent when all items are ready in full - this means that if you have a pre-order item in your order, all items will wait until that latest item is available and then will be sent out at the same time.

Your SPARK products will then be sent by Australia Post, and should be reaching your door within 2-8 business days depending on your location.

As soon as your order is sent, you will receive a shipping confirmation email from us. You can now keep an eye out for the postie.

Australia Post’s delivery driver may leave your package in a safe place for larger orders, or take it to your nearest post office if you are not home. Smaller orders will fit right into your letterbox.

Please note: If we send via signature required post (for larger orders) to ensure safe delivery - if you opt for ‘Authority To Leave’ yourself, we are not responsible for the package in the rare case it is missing or stolen.

Please note: all shipping timeframes are 72 hours from the advertised date of dispatch. Should your item have a pre-order date (advised next to the product name in brackets), it is 72 hours from the date of dispatch. If there’s no date next to the product name, it's in stock and ready to go! 

 

How much do I pay for shipping?

If you’re located in Australia, we have a flat rate of $4.95. Express Post is $9.95.

How do I track my order?

Time to get excited, your order is on its way! After we pass your order to Australia Post, we will send you a shipping confirmation email which will have a tracking number. Jump onto the Australia Post website so you can follow the live tracking updates!

Haven’t received your shipping confirmation email yet? Your order may be on pre-order, as confirmed on the website at time of purchase. Be sure to check your original order confirmation, you won’t receive a shipping confirmation email until that pre-order date.

Can I change my shipping address?

Whoopsie... Haven't entered the correct delivery address? We can definitely help change this for you! Provided your order has not shipped, please send us the new details and we can change this over for you. If your order has been shipped, no sweat! You can still redirect it via the Australia Post tracking link we provide on your shipping confirmation email.

Please note: We can only send your order to the address you provide on your order - if you have provided an incorrect address, and the package is delivered there, we are unable to retrieve it so please check your address carefully!

Do you ship internationally?

We don't currently from our online retail store, but in time we plan to share the SPARK love all around the world!

Why should I use a SPARK Grip?

Haven't tried our range of SPARK products yet? Once you do, you will be in love! Our designs are the first of their kind, and you know when you make your purchase that you are supporting a family owned Aussie business! Here are some other reasons we promise you'll get bang for your buck!

How are my SPARK products packaged?

We are just as excited as you are that your SPARK goodies are on the way. Our pillow box packaging is fun and engaging, yet has our environment in mind which means it's 100% recyclable. After you have finished reading all our amazing product features and benefits, and have installed your product, please place your packaging straight into your recycle bin. All SPARK products will arrive in a small or large Australia Post tracked envelope unless you place a large/bulk order, which will arrive via satchel or box.

How do I apply my SPARK GRIP?

See the video above or follow below for easy application of your Spark Grip

 

Step 1
Slide your Spark Grip over the handle, with the Spark logo centred to the face of the bat, racquet, or stick. This is an extremely important step especially for our guide grips. If the SPARK logo is not centered, our SPARK guide grip will not land in the right place.

Step 2
Remove your hand from the grip, hold the bat, racquet or stick horizontally making sure it doesn’t move.

Step 3
Over the sink, carefully pour boiling water* over the grip and watch the magic happen! Shrinking it perfectly to fit your handle. Alternatively, if you have a heat gun, gently rotate and apply heat evenly.  *Be careful when handling boiling water or the heat gun – this step is for adults only.


Step 4 

Allow to cool and trim off any excess with scissors. That's it! You're set!

Care Instructions

Been giving it your best shot and having a ton of fun with your SPARK grip? To remove any surface dust, dirt and sweat, simply wipe clean with a soft cloth and water. Detergents of any kind are not recommended.

My favourite colour Grip is out of stock, will you restock it?

Missed out on your favorite design? Don’t worry, we continuously restock all designs, so keep an eye out on the website for when they will be available again.

Do you take suggestions or custom designs?

Yes! If you're a sporting club, school or organisation, we take custom bulk orders and can create any design! Let's chat about how we might build your brand awareness with your own branded SPARK grip guides for newcomers or SPARK grips (without grip guides) for experienced players. We can also identify opportunities to increase your revenue with our cutting-edge product, and help maximise sales with our premium packaging and POS options.

Feel like changing out your SPARK design for another?

Cinderella is proof that a new pair of shoes can change your life! A new SPARK grip is no different! Carefully using scissors, make a small cut at the base of the SPARK grip on your sports handle. From there, you can simply peel it off in an upward motion. That's it! You're ready to make a new start!

 

Please note: These instructions are for changing out one SPARK design for another. If you are installing your SPARK grip for the first time, there is no need to remove any underwrap or padding that your original sports equipment came with. Our SPARK grips are designed to go straight over the top, therefore maintaining the integrity of your equipment. 

What are SPARK products made from and are they recyclable?

Apart from being fun and super cool, our SPARK products are made from polymer. We are currently striving to be 100% recyclable but unfortunately at this stage we do not have our own recycle code for our products. What we DO know is that our products are NOT 100% rubber like other brands, and our products will outlast others by up to 5X, minimising landfill. Our packaging is 100% recyclable however, and can be placed straight in your recycle bin. With all this in mind, we know we're on the right path. Nothing is more important to us than our precious environment, and our promise to you is that we are working incredibly hard to bring you products with the smallest possible footprint.  

Do you offer wholesale or bulk purchase discounts?

Spark is a young company founded by a mum & dad in Brissie. At this stage, we're unable to provide bulk discounts but we're not ruling it out in the future.

I can’t add a product to my cart?

Keep calm and SPARK on! If you can’t add an item to cart, it may unfortunately be a sold out item. Perhaps try your equal-favourite or second-favourite design. Holding out for the one? Contact us at hello@wearespark.com.au for a stock update. We update our website regularly, so the design of your dreams should be available again very soon!

Where are my SPARK products made?

We currently have one state of the art printer right here in Brisbane, Australia. We also have 3 others in PRC. Some of our products will be made right here on Aussie soil, while others will be made in PRC to our highest standards.

 

We lead with innovative practices, partnering with trusted makers around the world who share our vision for the future. The New Innings team is actively committed to continually researching, evaluating and implementing new methods which will lead us to a more ethical, transparent, and resourceful business. As well as developing strong working relationships with our global teams, paying fair wages, fair working hours and environments, we have made a conscious effort to also utilise any waste for future charity/foundation. This is a journey and there is always room for improvement, we are constantly working to innovate and refine our ethical processes. 

Returns and Exchanges

We offer returns for 30 days from the date of delivery/receiving of order.

However, not all items are eligible. To be eligible for a return:

1. Item(s) have to be initiated for return and placed in the post within 30 days of the delivery/receiving of order.
2. Item(s) were not marked “Sale/Clearance” or “Non-Returnable” at the time of purchase, unless faulty.
3. Item(s) must be in the original packaging, which must be in original unused condition.

This includes the outer pillow box and instruction card. You will be asked to provide a photo of your item prior to sending it back to us so we can assess the condition.

Please note: Bulk order/Custom designs are Non-Returnable or Exchangeable.

 

Can I return my order for a refund?

We understand that from time to time you may change your mind. You can definitely send your SPARK grip back to us for a full refund, provided it is returned within 30 days. Please make certain that you include your details (name and order number) in the return package so we know who they've come back from.

 

However, not all items are eligible. To be eligible for a refund:

1. Item(s) have to be initiated for return and placed in the post within 30 days of the delivery/receiving of order.
2. Item(s) were not marked “Sale/Clearance” or “Non-Returnable” at the time of purchase, unless faulty.
3. Item(s) must be in the original packaging, which must be in original unused condition. This includes the outer pillow box and instruction card. You will be asked to provide a photo of your item prior to sending it back to us so we can assess the condition.

 

Refunds will be for the original cost of the product excluding any shipping fees. Unfortunately we do not cover return shipping costs or loss. If you choose not to purchase covered return shipping, we are unable to refund your item if it is lost and not received.

 

 

 

Can I exchange my order for a different product?

Another design captured your heart? You can certainly return your SPARK grips to us for an exchange to a new design, provided it is returned within 30 days. Please make certain that you include your details (name and order number) in the return package so we know who they've come back from.

How long does it take for my return/exchange to be processed?

We work hard to get your SPARK products in and out of our fulfilment centres. we will just need to wait until your original order gets back to our warehouse before we can go ahead. Please make certain that you include your details (name and order number) in the return package so we know who they've come back from.

 

How long does it take for my refund to be processed?

Should you receive a refund for your order, you will receive an email confirming this has been processed from our end. From there, it will take 2-5 business days to process into your account, depending on your bank. If it takes any longer than this, we would recommend contacting your bank directly.

There's an issue with my order, what can I do?

Something not quite right with your order? Don’t worry, our SPARK team is ready to spring into action! Please contact us at hello@wearespark.com.au to advise of the issue, and to help resolve things quickly we request you include photos so we can help identify what has happened. 

I need to cancel or change my order!

These things happen! Please email us immediately with the subject line CHANGE or CANCEL and we will do our absolute best to carry out your request. If it has already been dispatched from our fulfillment centre you will need to go through our returns process.

As we do our best to get your orders out to you as soon as we can, occasionally an order will be processed before the team has a chance to change it. We cannot guarantee a change of order after the order is placed so please select your items carefully.
